Careers at the MNI

The MNI is an academic medical centre where novice and expert nurses work side by side with physicians and other health professionals. Neuroscience nurses at the MNI work on multidisciplinary teams with other health professionals to provide the best care for adult patients, and may contribute to or lead clinical research projects.

Nurses bring their expertise to multidisciplinary teams who care for patients in the MNI’s 85 bed hospital, surgical suites, ICU and outpatient clinics. Nurses who pursue their personal and professional goals at MNI are employed by the McGill University Health Centre, which is recognized as one of Canada’s top employers.

Recognizing the importance of quality of life for our nurses and their families, the MUHC offers flexible scheduling. Options may include permanent full time and part time positions, long-term replacements, availability status, 8 or 12 hours shifts, self-scheduling as well as choice of shifts.
