Dr. Amit Bar-Or
Amit Bar-Or
Dr. Amit Bar-Or completed medical studies at McGill University, then trained in Neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He studied Neuroimmunology at the Center for Neurologic Diseases at Harvard Medical School where he also completed a Master's degree in Clinical Investigation at Harvard and MIT.
Currently, Dr. Bar-Or works as a neurologist and neuroimmunologist. His clinical focus is on Multiple Sclerosis and related conditions. In the laboratory, Dr. Bar-Or is interested in understanding how the human immune system may participate in nervous system inflammation. His research focuses on developing new methods for studying the functions of immune cells and incorporating these methods into clinical trials. This approach provides the opportunity to gain insights into the mechanism of the disease while also evaluating the safety and efficacy of novel therapies.
