The Neuro Team

Scientists in the McConnell Brain Imaging Centre are using sophisticated imaging tools to study how physiologic events within the brain are translated into behaviour, thought, and emotion. They are probing specific chemical deficits associated with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases and schizophrenia to help design improved treatments for these diseases.
